World's largest thematic aquarium hosts 50,000 visitors in Eid al-Adha

ISTANBUL (A.A) - November 9, 2011 - World's largest thematic aquarium in Istanbul city of Turkey hosted nearly 50,000 visitors throughout the four-day Eid al-Adha religious holiday. Istanbul Aquarium takes place near Florya coast of Istanbul, and it is the largest thematic fish tank of the world. The aquarium is a home to 15,000 fish of 1,500 different species. The aquarium has been free of charge for children under ten years old during the holiday. Nearly 50,000 Turkish and foreign tourists visited the fish tank during the holiday.
