Russia, Kyrgyzstan sign $6 bln worth of memorandums, agreements during business forum

BISHKEK, April 1. /TASS/. Representatives of Russia and Kyrgyzstan signed agreements and memorandums totally worth $6 bln during the eighth Kyrgyz-Russian Inter-Regional Conference in Bishkek, head of the Kyrgyz presidential administration’s strategic development, economy and finance department Daniyar Imanaliev said on Monday. Over 800 representatives of public authorities, commercial and financial companies of the two states participated in the conference, he said, adding that "around 50 various memorandums and agreements worth $6 bln were signed" during the conference. According to Imanaliev, the Russian-Kyrgyz trade turnover amounted to $1.6 bln last year. "This year we are poised to boost it to $2 bln," he said, noting that the amount of export-import transactions might be brought to $3-4 bln per year if the two sides succeed to employ the whole cooperation capacity.
