Russian companies ready to participate in construction, upgrade of power plants in South Africa - presidential aide
MOSCOW, July 24. /TASS/. Russia’s Inter RAO, Power Machines and affiliates of the state-run corporation Rostec are ready to take part in construction and upgrade of power plants in South Africa, presidential aide Yuri Ushakov said on Tuesday.
"Huge resources in the energy field are in place to boost cooperation. Rotec, Power Machines, Inter RAO, Technopromexport and the United Engine Corporation are ready to take part in construction and upgrade of power plants in South Africa," Ushakov said.
Russian geological holding Rosgeo also has "serious plans on exploration and tapping of hydrocarbons on the South African shelf" in cooperation with South Africa’s Petro SA, he added.
