SET in the City 2018 held in Bangkok Nov 15-18

BANGKOK, October 17 (TNA) - International investors and the general public are welcome to the "SET in the City 2018" fair, the 14th of its kind, which will be organized by the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) in Bangkok during November 15-18. New SET President Dr. Pakorn Peetathawatchai announced on October 16 that the 14th SET in the City will be held at the Royal Paragon Hall of the Paragon Shopping Complex in the capital's Pathumwan area. Dr. Pakorn told journalists that highlights of next month's four-day event include a showcase of 40 future technologies and innovations of the Thai capital market, namely the adoption of the artificial intelligence (AI) system for the design of stock screening devices and the robo advisor, as well as the introduction of the TFEX Gold Online Futures, a new product of the Thai capital market, which is a future gold trading contract with no real deliveries of gold but with based on the real world gold prices. Besides, workshops of more than 50 topics will be organized as part of the SET in the City 2018 fair, in which participants will learn on smart analysis approaches of promising-prospect stocks, including those of listed firms that could further improve investors' quality of life, known as stocks in the so-called "market of Well-being". "During the upcoming four-day fair, international investors and the general public are welcome to visit booths of participating commercial banks, securities and mutual fund management companies, as well as brokerage houses and insurance firms, where their financial investment plans and designs of stock portfolios will be presented and offered", said the SET president.
