Baku 2017: Azerbaijan’s first gold medal in taekwondo

Baku, Azerbaijan, May 16 By Elchin Mehdiyev – Trend: Azerbaijan’s taekwondo fighter Yaprak Eris has won a gold medal in taekwondo competitions as part of the 4th Islamic Solidarity Games in Baku. In the finals Eris defeated Altunel Durdane from Turkey, 5:4. The Baku 2017 Islamic Solidarity Games started May 8 and will last until May 22 in Azerbaijan’s capital.
