Iran’s Amir Kabir University Wins Program Contest At IIT-Kanpur

New Delhi, Dec 16, IRNA - Iran's Amirkabir University of Technology won the Association for Commuting Machinery (ACM) International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC). The two-day contest was held at the Indian Institute of Technology-Kanpur. The team from Iran ranked first while the Indian Institute of Technology-Indore bagged second place. Amirkabir University of Technology has qualified for the world finals of ACM ICPC scheduled to be held in St Petersburg, Russia, in June 2013. The contest challenged participants, working in three-person teams, to rely on programing skills and creativity during a five-hour battle of logic, strategy and mental endurance./end
