Iranian runners top in track and field event in Belarus

Tehran, July 21, IRNA – Three Iranian runners came first in three sections of a track and field event in Minsk, Belarus, while another athlete came second. Iranian athletes stood first in 400-yard, 800-yard, and 3000-yard sections of the event and came second in the discus throw with 59.4 meters. The matches kicked off on Friday and continue for two days. The event is a good opportunity to evaluate Iranian athletes to take part in Jakarta Asian Games (August 18 - September 2).
