"MINING MONGOLIA 2014" TO BE ATTENDED BY 120 FIRMS

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The fourth edition of "Mongolia Mining" will be held April 10-12 in Buyant Ukhaa sports complex. This year’s Expo will be yet larger than all previous ones with vast geographic allocation of exhibitors. Except from traditional mining industry, this year’s expo adds oil industry to its profile and is organized under the name Mongolia Mining 2014, International Mining and Oil/Gas Expo. To accommodate large number of high profile exhibitors, organizers decided to move the venue of Mongolia Mining from Misheel expo center to much larger Buyant-Ukhaa Sports Palace that offers convenient parking and large outside area. Mongolia Mining 2014 will be organized by its traditional organizer Minex Co., Ltd jointly with Expo Mongolia Co., Ltd and International Expo Bureau of Mongolia. The Ministry of Mining of Mongolia, Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mineral Authority of Mongolia, Oil Authority and Nuclear Energy Agency support Mongolia Mining as the most important technological event in the country. Mongolia Mining 2014 will host exhibitor booths from mining and exploration companies, oil exploration companies, service providers and equipment suppliers, evaluation and consulting companies, investment and financing institutions as well as representatives of multilateral organizations interested in this crucial industry. Mongolia Mining Expo will feature more than 120 in-house booths and outside equipment spaces displaying products and services of diverse exhibitors including, energy, metal and non-metal mining companies, oil exploration companies, geological survey and exploration companies, mining equipment manufacturers and suppliers, excavating, hoisting, loading, transport and construction mining machinery manufacturers, drilling service and equipment providers, oil importers and retailers and others. Mongolia is among the top in the word for its resources of coal, copper, gold, iron ore, flu-or spar, and rare earth minerals and has quite sizable deposits of oil. There had been some stagnation in flow of investment and production of minerals during 2012 and through the beginning of 2013 due some investment legal environment and market conditions. However, Mongolia’s mining and oil industry is on the rise again. Investments are growing, and mineral production is going up and it generates huge demand for mining techniques and supplies. There is growing need for better platform for suppliers and buyers to meet and discuss businesses and Mongolia Mining 2014 expo provides valuable networking and collaboration opportunities among all industry stake holders.
