Police Arrest 8 Drug Suspects In Tabalong

Tanjung, S Kalimantan, Nov 22 (ANTARA) - Tabalong police have nabbed eight drug suspects and seized 8.47 grams of narcotics in a 14-day raid ending Nov 18 in the South Kalimantan district. Chief of police operation in the district Comr Iwan Wahyu Purnomo said here on Thursday the eight suspects included users and dealers. The regency of Tabalog has recorded the third largest number of drug cases after the regencies of Banjarmasin and Kotabaru in South Kalimantan . Meanwhile, the anti narcotics unit of the Tabalong police has also succeeded in arresting a drug abuse fugitive Muhammad Nor alias Ading, (30), of the village of Sulingan , the Murung Pudak sub-district. Ading , who has been a fugitive for 8 months was arrested in a rented house in the Ciputat complex in the city.
