RIFF Croatian jury member: Bright future ahead of Iranian animations

Tehran, Nov 21, IRNA - A Croatian jury member of the 48th Roshd International Film Festival (RIFF) said animation is a universal language.
Matea Milić said a bright future is ahead of Iranian animations, describing the RIFF as a best venue to become acquainted with the Iranian cinema.
Milić said all the children have common concerns and social problems, adding that making animation is a best way to illustrate the problems.
She added that animation does not have any boundaries and anything is possible with animation.
Milić reiterated that it is very 'nice and interesting' that the RIFF has been warmly welcomed by huge number of Iranian students.
Milić was born in Zagreb in 1980, was graduated in Art History and Slovak Language and Literature from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb, ICN wrote.
From 2012 she worked at Hulahop Film and Art Production where she was in charge of distribution and promotion of animated and documentary films.
She was Finance Manager of the World Festival of Animated Film – Animafest Zagreb from 2013 and became Festival Producer in 2015.
International Roshd Film Festival is being held in Tehran on November 16-23.
Films from the UK, India, Egypt, Turkey, Indonesia, Greece, Italy, Malta, Tunisia, Brazil, Mexico, Germany, Denmark, the Philippines and Finland have participated in the narrative short films section of the festival.
Roshd Film Festival mainly focuses on the films with educational and pedagogical themes.
It is organized by the Supplying Educational Media Center, a sub-branch of the Iranian Ministry of Education.
