Wreckage Of Survey Plane Found On Hillside

Samarinda, Aug 27 (ANTARA) - Burnt wreckage of the survey aircraft, PA31 Piper Navajo Chief Tain, missing in East Kalimantan since Friday had been found with four dead bodies on a hillside in the regency of Kutai Timur. The wreckage and scorched bodies known to be those of pilot Capt Marshal Basir and passengers including the General Manager of Elliot Geophysics International, Peter John Elliot, surveyor Jandri Hendrizal and a defense ministry official Captain Suyoto were found on the hillside of Mt Mayang on Sunday afternoon. The bodies were evacuated to the hospital of AW Sjahranie in Samarinda, on Monday morning .
