Ahmadinejad Congratulates Lebanon Independence Day To Counterpart

Beirut, Nov 26, IRNA – Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Friday congratulated his Lebanese counterpart Michel Suleiman on the anniversary of his country's Independence Day. Iran's Embassy in Beirut quoted President Ahmadinejad as saying in his message, 'I would like to congratulate your honor, and the noble Lebanese government and nation on the blessed occasion of your country's Independence Day.' The President added, 'I hope relying on your honor's sagacious management we would be witnesses to the evermore expansion and deepening of the relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Lebanon in entire fields. Lebanon will undoubtedly be able to take long strides towards materializing its goals, national ideals, development, and blossoming under your honor's wise leadership more successful than before, he added. President Ahmadinejad at the end of his message prayed to Almighty Allah for the health and success of President Suleiman, as well as for the progress and prosperity of the 'dear and resistant Lebanese government and nation.' /end
