AMBASSADOR OF KAZAKHSTAN GIVES REPORT

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Monglia Mr K.I.Koblandin Wednesday gave a report in the MONTSAME news agency’s conference hall on his country’s present situation and Mongolia-Kazakhstan relations and cooperation.
The Ambassador noted that the countries established the diplomatic relations in 1992, and Mongolia’s diplomatic mission opened in Kazakhstan in 1998. In 2013, the bilateral trade turnover reached 30 million US dollars, which is not enough, "so my country will pay big attention to deepening the bilateral ties", Mr Koblandin stressed.
He also underlined that his country wants to expand the cooperation with Mongolia in industry, agriculture and land farming spheres, adding that the countries should reach an agreement on easing the visa requirement for Mongolians. An inter-governmental meeting will run in the nearest future, and the Presidents and Prime Ministers of the two countries plan to visit each other, Mr Koblandin said.
Then he focused on his country’s social and economy life and presented a developmental programme until 2050, in which Kazakhstan aims to become one of the 30 most-developed nations by the year of 2050. "We will support small- and middle-sized business in order to reach this our goal," he added.
