AMBASSADOR OF SWITZERLAND PRESENTS CREDENTIALS

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On Thursday, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Switzerland to Mongolia Mr Jean-Jacques de Dardel presented the diplomatic credentials to the President Ts.Elbegdorj. The President received the Ambassador after the ceremony. The leader of Mongolia noted that the 50th anniversary of the Mongolia-Switzerland diplomatic relations is celebrated this year and congratulated the Ambassador on this anniversary. He underlined that Mongolia and Switzerland have similar positions on developing and strengthening the democracy and democratic values. It was also noted that the Mongolian FM had sent to his Swiss counterpart a letter with a willingness to continue an anti-human trafficking project, realized here together with the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC). The Swiss side promised to study this matter.
