The consultative meeting of Foreign Ministries runs

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The consultative meeting between Foreign ministries of Mongolia and the Russian Federation ran April 22-23 in Moscow to discuss a cooperation within the Shanghai Cooperation Organization /SCO/. The meeting was co-chaired by T.Tugsbilguun, the director of the Department of neighboring countries, and by B.M.Khakimov, the Director-General of the Department of Asia-Pacific Cooperation of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The sides talked about their cooperation and its future in the SCO. Mongolia became an observer in the SCO in 2004, since then it has been actively participating in activities of this organization. "Current meeting has been run successfully," noted Tugsbilguun. The Russian side appreciated Mongolia's active participation in SCO's works and promised to support Mongolia and to share information with it. While in Moscow, Tugsbilguun also met with A.B.Kulik, the head of First Asia Department of the Ministry of foreign affairs of Russia to talk about concrete issues of the cooperation.
