DIRECT FLIGHTS MAY EASE VISAS TO FRANCE

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Mongolia Mr Yves Delaunay has expressed a willingness to facilitate the visa requirement of France for Mongolians in conjunction with opening of direct Ulaanbaatar-Paris flights.
Mr Delaunay said it Wednesday at a news conference called by the Hunnu Air company on opening direct flights to Paris. The Ambassador said he is greatly satisfied with forwarding of the bilateral relations thanks to launching these flights and with a great chance to elevate the cooperation in tourism, trade and economic fields into a newer level.
We had informed before that the Hunnu Air LLC intended to make direct flight to Charles de Gaulle airport from June 9 of 2014, expanding its destinations in Europe.
The flight will be performed by Airbus A 319 twice a week with a technical stop in Russia. The airplane will take off at 7.00 am from the Chingis Khaan international airport and land at 1.00 pm by local time in Paris. The flight will take about 11 hours including the technical landing in Moscow.
One-way ticket is one million 366 thousand 700 togrog, a two-way ticket-two million 290 thousand 300 from Ulaanbaatar. It will be EUR 692 (one-way) and EUR 1,070 (two-way) from Paris including tax.
The Hunnu Air operates five airplanes (two Airbus 319 100 and three Fokker 50), and is expected to add to its fleet a new Airbus 330 200 by 2015.
