FM MEETS TURKISH AMBASSADOR

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Foreign Minister L.Bold Tuesday received the newly appointed Ambassador of Turkey to Mongolia, Murat Karagoz. This meeting ran in connection with an earlier credentials presentation by Mr Karagoz to the President Ts. Elbegdorj. The Minister Bold expressed a satisfaction in the Mongolia-Turkey traditional relations and cooperation that have been developing at a great pace in politics, defense, trade, economy, culture, education and sciences, and in their ongoing active cooperation within the United Nations, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe and other global bodies. The Ambassador spoke of the unique cultural and historical relations between Mongolia and Turkey, noting that these days over thousand Mongolians are studying in his country. He promised to make efforts for further cooperation in the economic, trade, culture and tourism sectors between the countries.
