FM RECEIVES UN STAFFER S.ERDENEBILEG

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Minister of Foreign Affairs L.Bold Monday received Mr S.Erdenebileg, a head of the Policy, Planning and Regulation Section of the United Nations Office of the High Representative for the Least Developed Countries, Landlocked Developing Countries and Small Island Developing States (UN-OHRLLS). They shared views on a preparation for an international high-level conference themed “Agreement on facilitating trades of the World Trade Organization: Effects on landlocked and developing countries”, then touched upon a participation and actions of the International Think Tank for Landlocked Developing Countries and a preparation for a conference of evaluating the decade implementation of the Almaty Programme of Action. They also stressed an importance of running the international conference for landlocked countries in Ulaanbaatar to attract attention of countries to problems and difficulties to the landlocked countries, to form their joint position and regularize activities of the International Think Tank. Mr Erdenebileg conveyed to the FM a gratitude from Mr Gyan C. Acharya, the Under-Secretary-General and High Representative for UN-OHRLLS, for an intention to host the international conference this June 2-3 in Ulaanbaatar. Having a long-year working experience in the UN, Erdenebileg is considered as taking the highest position among Mongolians at the UN and its specialized bodies.
