Hegemonic System In Final Moments Of Life: President

Caracas, Jan 10, IRNA – Hegemonic system is in the final moments of its life, visiting Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said here Monday. President Ahmadinejad made the remark on the sideline of his welcome ceremony with his Venezuelan counterpart, President Hugo Chavez. President Ahmadinejad noted that the emergence of aggressive face of the hegemonic system is because of its decline. “The hegemonic system ignores the entire human values, international rules and regulations and violates independent counties’ sovereignty easily,” he underlined. “Caracas and Tehran would stand together against the hegemonic powers’ greed to dominate the world and would defend their rights; we have no intention for invading any country; we like all nations, including the oppressed nation of the United States, that has a hard time being trampled upon by their oppressor rulers” the Iranian president added. He underscored that logic, peace and serving the oppressed peoples of the world are our weapons against the arrogant powers. “We trust in God and wish for the emergence of a better world for everybody free from injustice and poverty,” Ahmadinejad noted. The President also in a meeting with the Iranian economic activists in Venezuela emphasized on expansion of relations between Caracas and Tehran in various fields including economy. “Activating Venezuela-Iran economic potentials is in the interest of the two countries,” Ahmadinejad added. Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez welcomed visiting Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in the presidential palace on Monday./end
