Iran-Togo FMs Discuss Bilateral Ties

Tehran, Jan 30, IRNA – Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi met with Togolese Foreign Minister Elliot Ohin on the sidelines of the 18th African Union Summit in the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa late Sunday. Salehi announced Tehran's readiness for helping Togo’s development while outlining Iran’s achievements in the scientific, industrial and technological fields. Salehi and Ohin discussed ways for broadening bilateral ties. Togo is situated in West Africa bordered by Ghana to the west, Benin to the east, and Burkina Faso to the north. It extends south to the Gulf of Guinea, on which the capital Lomé is located./end
