Iran will not reconsider its calculations under pressure: Supreme Leader

TEHRAN, July 25 (MNA) – Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said late on Tuesday that the Western pressure on Iran will fail to force the Islamic Republic to reconsider its “calculations”. "They (Western powers) explicitly say they should intensify pressure and sanctions to force the Iranian authorities to reconsider their calculations. Not only will we not reconsider our calculations, moreover with even more resolution we will continue on the path of the people," the Leader state. "The country will pass over the current economic pressures against the Islamic system," the Leader said in a meeting with officials. The West has introduced unprecedented sanctions against Iran, targeting Iran’s oil exports and the central bank.
