Iranian MPs write to president over central bank’s illegal money withdrawal

TEHRAN, March 15 (MNA) – Three MPs have sent a letter to Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad criticizing the fact that the central bank had illegally withdrawn money from certain state and private banks without notifying them in advance. The text of the letter, written by Gholam Reza Mesbahi-Moqaddam, Ahmad Tavakkoli, and Elyas Naderan, was published on Sunday. The MPs called on the president to seriously pursue the issue.
