Kuwaiti Official Hails Ties With Iran As Excellent

Kuwait City, Feb 16, IRNA – Kuwaiti deputy foreign minister Khalid al-Jarallah said his country’s relations with the brotherly and friendly Iran is excellent. He told reporters on the sidelines of a ceremony in commemoration of the Islamic Revolution held Wednesday evening that the two countries are willing to promote bilateral ties. He also said Tehran and Kuwait City have common interests and the two make efforts to further strengthen mutual ties. During the visit of Iran’s deputy foreign minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian, the future of the two countries’ relations was reviewed, said the Kuwaiti official. About the visit, al-Jarallah said it was an opportunity to re-negotiate for promotion of bilateral cooperation./end
