Larijani Condemns Assassination Of IRGC Commander In Syria

Tehran, Feb 17, IRNA – Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani on Saturday condemned assassination of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) commander Hassan Shateri in Syria. ˈUnwise enemies of the nation should know that assassination of martyr Shateri will not affect the Iranian peopleˈs resolve to support the oppressed Lebanese nation,ˈ said Larijani in a message issued in connection with martyr Shateriˈs assassination. He said martyrdom of late Shateri, the Head of the Lebanon Reconstruction Headquarters, by criminal terrorists has saddened Iran. He added that the martyr had rendered great services in connection with reconstruction of regions in south Lebanon damaged during the Zionist regimeˈs aggressions.
