Leader : Resistance Of Islamic Ummah Will Bring About Victory

Tehran, Feb 1, IRNA – Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, in a meeting with Secretary General of Palestine Islamic Jihad Ramezan Abdallah, said the growing weakness of the west and the developing strength of the Muslims are the facts of the world. He underlined that if the Islamic Ummah, in different countries, are committed to struggle for God, resistance and trust in the God Almighty, the divine promise will certainly be fulfilled, as we have witnessed during past year. According to the Website of the Office of the Supreme Leader, Aytollah Khamenei , stressing that regional developments during the past year are the blessings of the Almighty God, added that these developments are just the beginning and more victories are coming with the divine grace. Ayatollah Khamenei pointed out that divine help requires struggle for God adding that the Islamic Republic of Iran has always been passing through hardships during the past 32 years and will continue the same path with strength in the future with divine grace. On the situation in Syria, Ayatollah Khamenei said if the developments in Syria are considered with a comprehensive analysis, the US project in that country can be easily seen and unfortunately some other countries and some regional countries are participating in the American plot. The Supreme Leader underlined that the main goal of the US in Syria is to strike the resistance line in the region ‘because Syria supports Palestinian resistance and Islamic resistance in Lebanon’. “If the Syrian government promises the US that it stops its support for Islamic resistance in Palestine and Lebanon, then all problems will be solved because Syria’s only crime is supporting the resistance,” said Ayatollah Khamenei. “US and certain western countries want to revenge their recent defeats in the region , including in Egypt and Tunisia,” Ayatollah Khamenei said. “Iran’s stance on Syria is support for any reforms in favor of people and opposition to US and its allies’ interference in Syria’s domestic affairs,” said Ayatollah Khamenei. Referring to remarks by members of Palestine Islamic Jihad on Iran’s eye-catching scientific progress, Ayatollah Khamenei said scientific progress in Iran is extensive and covers all scientific and technological fields and sometimes many people cannot believe it. He expressed hope that the same scientific progress happens in other Islamic countries such as Egypt, Tunisia, and Libya and Islamic Ummah achieve considerable abilities in science and technology. Ramezan Abdallah, for his part, congratulated the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution and presented a report on developments in Palestine in particular Gaza and said the Islamic Awakening and regional developments are golden opportunities for Nuslims of the region in particular people of Palestine and all should be vigilant about the enemies’ plots./end
