Mongol studies support fund matter will be considered

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The parliamentary Standing Committee on budget Tuesday was to discuss an implementation of main socio-economic directions but postponed it until a conclusion of the audit and considered a draft on amending a law on special fund of the Government. After this, the education Minister L.Gantomor spoke about the Mongol studies. It was resumed over 100 years ago in western countries, developed at 70 scientific centers of 20 countries but has ceased due to changes in the world's politics, especially in the USA, Germany and United Kingdom in the last 20 years, he said and suggested creating the Mongol studies fund. As known, the National security council recommended supporting the Mongol studies by the state policy and elaborating a program on it, the President obliged the Government to establish a Mongoi studies support fund, and the draft on it was worked out with assistance of scientists and backed by the National council for Mongol studies and the cabinet.
