MONGOLIA TO COOPERATE WITH HONG KONG INVESTMENT AGENCIES

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Following the Mongolia-Hong Kong business meeting, the parts signed memorandums of understanding to promote the investment and economic relations between the countries.
Vice Chairperson of Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry M.Oyunchimeg, Deputy Executive Director of Hong Kong Trade Development Council Benjamin Chau signed a Memorandum of Understanding in cooperation.
After that, Director of the Mongolian Investment Agency S.Javkhlanbaatar and Director-General of “Invest Hong Kong” agency Simon Galpin signed a Memorandum of Understanding in cooperation between the organizations.
Hong Kong Trade Development Council, established in 1966, is an organization has more than 40 offices around the world. Hong Kong Trade Development Council creates opportunities for domestic and foreign companies, especially small and medium-sized enterprises, by promoting trade in goods and services globally through exhibitions and round table discussions. The organization also oversees the operations of Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center, which holds approximately 30 international fairs each year. Some of these fairs are the biggest of their kind in Asia and worldwide. Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center organizes popular auctions such as wine and jewelry.
Invest Hong Kong, established in 2000, is the department of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China’s Government. The department is responsible for promoting domestic investment environment globally, and has been attracting thousands of foreign investors to Hong Kong since its establishment.
