MONGOLIA PRESENTS CREDENTIALS TO LEADER OF ESTONIA

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to Republic of Estonia, Z.Altai Wednesday presented the credentials to the President of this country Toomas Hendrick in Tallinn city. After the ceremony the President received Mr Altai. The latter conveyed him a greeting from the President of Mongolia Ts. Elbegdorj and affirmed that Mr IIves has been invited to Mongolia. He said Mongolia wants to cooperate with Estonia in a way of studying its E-government experience, training our specialists and exchanging officials. To this the Estonian side said that is ready to share this experience. The Ambassador noted that Estonia has many-year experience in producing oil from shale, providing by it 95 percent of its electricity and 50 percent of needs in petroleum. After this the sides expressed a mutual interest in cooperating in frames of multilateral cooperation. Present at the meeting were Estonian President's adviser on foreign policy Marquis Ladre, a head of the department of Foreign Relation of Presidential Office Kay Carlson, and adviser of the Foreign Affairs Andres Talvik. The diplomatic relations between the two countries were established in November 20 of 1991.
