MONGOLIA PRESENTS CREDENTIALS TO REPUBLIC OF IRELAND

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland N.Tulga Saturday presented his credentials to the President of Republic of Ireland Mr Micheal D.Higgins. The Ambassador conveyed to Mr Higgins a greeting from the leader of Mongolia Mr Elbegdorj, then said he will try to boost bilateral relations, especially in trade and economic, during his diplomatic mission. In his turn, Mr Higgins welcomed warmly the Ambassador to his country and highly spoke Mongolia's contribution to the development of the democracy in the region and congratulated our country on successfully organizing the VII Ministerial Conference of the Community of Democracies in the UB city last April. After this, Mr Tulga met with the Speaker of the Irish parliament Mr Sean Barrett and the Minister of Trade and Development Mr Joe Costello, held a meeting with the delegates of Ireland-based Mongolians. The Ambassador also congratulated the Irish Mr Mark Sherrey for being appointed the Honorary Consul of Mongolia and handed him officially patent and stamp.
