MP: Algeria Has Always Supported Iran’s Principled Stances

Algiers, Jan 18, IRNA -- Head of Foreign Policy Commission of Algerian Senate said that his country has always supported Iran’s principled stances since the victory of Islamic revolution in Iran. Abdul-Rahman Boulheye, in a meeting with visiting Iranian parliamentary friendship delegation on Tuesday, underlined that Algeria has always supported Iran and reminded that the two countries have good and developing relations. He added that Algeria had played its historical role as a mediator during war between Iran and Iraq. Member of Iran-Algeria parliamentary friendship group, by referring to the good political relations between the two countries, appreciated Algerian revolutionary stances in defending Palestinian rights and Iran’s policies in different issues in international circles. Mussa Qorbani added that the two nations of Iran and Algeria are revolutionary and anti-colonialism and can use their experiences and abilities in progressing their goals. The two sides also underlined promotion of economic cooperation. The Iranian delegation will meet with Algerian parliamentary and political senior officials during their 5-day visit.end
