New ambassador of Kazakhstan presents credentials to President

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Mongolia, Kalybek Koblandin presented the credentials to Ts.Elbegdorj, the President of Mongolia on May 14. At the meeting after the ceremony, Mr Elbegdorj said that the legal structure of the two countries' ties is strengthening and a cooperation is active at regional and international levels despite a short time after diplomatic relations have been established. He noted that the Intergovernmental Commission on trade-economic and sciences and culture of Mongolia and Kazakhstan is playing an important role in a development of the ties. In response, the Ambassador Koblandin thanked Mongolia for a support given to his country in its activities in the UN and international organizations. He said that the two sides has a suggestion to restore Ulaanbaatar--Astana--Ulaanbaatar and Ulaanbaatar--Almaty--Astana--Ulaanbaatar air routes. The Ambassador, who is the historian, spoke about studying Mongolia and Kazakhstan's history. Mr Elbegdorj noted an expansion of the ties between our countries and said the Mongolian side will help Mr Ambassador in his diplomatic mission.
