Pakistan President: NATO Attacks Unacceptable

Islamabad, Nov 27, IRNA – President Asif Ali Zardari on Saturday said that NATO attacks in Pakistani territory are unacceptable, Presidential spokesman said. The President strongly condemned the NATO helicopters’ attack on Pakistani troops in two Pakistan Army borders posts in Mohmand Agency and termed it violation of Pakistan’s sovereignty. The NATO raids killed 28 Pakistani soldiers and injured 15 others, the army said. NATO fighter jets and helicopters hit two border posts. The President said that attack by NATO/ISAF helicopters has resulted in loss of precious lives of Pakistani soldiers. President Zardari said a strong protest has also been launched with NATO and ISAF on this incident and they have been asked to take urgent action against those responsible for this aggression./end
