Pakistani MP Backs Iran’s Stand On Scientist Killing

Islamabad, Jan 19, IRNA – A Pakistani lawmaker on Wednesday said that Iran would have a strong evidence to substantiate its assertion about Israel’s possible involvement in the killing of Iranian scientist Mostafa Ahmadi Roshan.
Talking to IRNA Senator and Chairman of Pakistan Muslim League-N, Raja Muhammad Zafar-ul-Haq said that Iran cannot be threatened by scientists’ killings.
University professor, Ahmadi Roshan was killed on January 12 while two others injured when a magnetic bomb attached to his car exploded. The explosion took place after a motorcyclist stuck a bomb on the side of the car, in Tehran.
Raja Muhammad Zafar-ul-Haq expressing his views said that Iran is a responsible country and ‘we have to believe them if they say that US and Israel are behind this incident.’
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has said that assassination of Iranian scientists is a certain proof of the distress and disappointment of the bullying powers.
He said criminals who believed could hinder Iran’s progress by conducting terrorist acts should know that such actions could never discourage the Iranian nation from moving towards further prosperity.
Raja Muhammad Zafar-ul-Haq said that west has to realize that Iran is a nation that cannot be pressurized. “Iran has become an excellent example of resilience,” said the politician.
The Senator was of the view that west is against the nuclear programs of all Islamic countries. “They cannot see a strong developed Islamic world,” noted the lawmaker.
The political leader added that west has been trying to take the control of oil and resources of Islamic countries. He stressed the need for unity among Muslim Ummah to counter western conspiracies.
Raja Muhammad Zafar-ul-Haq strongly believed that west will not be able to accomplish its evil designs against Islamic Republic.
The parliamentarian said Iran is an independent country and should be allowed to develop its peaceful nuclear program.
The lawmaker further said that US-engineered sanctions against Iran have failed to stop the Islamic Republic from steady progress./end
