Parliament adopts law on recognizing President’s authority

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ At its plenary meeting held Wednesday morning, the parliament discussed and adopted a bill on acknowledging the authority of the re-elected President Ts.Elbegdorj. It took 94.4 per cent votes of parliamentarians. Apart of this, the meeting scheduled a time and date of the oath taking ceremony of the President at 11.40 am on July 10. Afterwards, the plenary meeting discussed and adopted a draft amendment to the parliamentary resolution’s appendix on regime of oath of the President of Mongolia. In accordance with it, the ceremony of oath will take place in front of the Monument of Chingis Khaan and will be open for the public. A meeting of honor of the State Great Khural will be held on the same place as well.
