PARLIAMENTARIANS VISIT CZECH REPUBLIC

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A head of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on environment, food and agriculture G.Bayarsaikhan and other MPs have paid a working visit to the Czech Republic.
Together with accompanying him D.Ganbat, Ts.Oyunbaatar and J.Batsuuri, a leader of Mongolia-Czech Republic friendship group at parliament, he stayed there November 21-24, invited by the Senate, the Upper House of parliament.
The delegation met with a Vice-president of the Senate Ms A.Gayaduskova and with a head of the standing committee on Public Administration, Regional Development and the Environment Mr Ivo Barek.
The sides touched upon several issues of the bilateral relations, for example, trade, economy, investments, electric power, mine reclamation, social welfare and development cooperation. They also highlighted an importance of activating the collaboration in other sectors, and considered ways of boosting a cooperation between legislative bodies, evaluating nowadays ties, keeping of a frequency of mutual level visits.
The sides also agreed to implement some model projects that will stimulate an introduction of the latest hi-tech to Mongolian agriculture sector with an assistance of Czech Republic.
