PARLIAMENTARY OFFICE PAYS TRIBUTE TO SENIORS

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On occasion of Lunar New Year, the Speaker of the State Great Khural (parliament) and authorities of the Parliamentary Office received their pensioners on Monday. Out of 57 who retired from former People’s Great Khural, the State Conference, current State Great Khural and the Parliamentary Office, at the reception were 40 elders. The Speaker congratulated them on the upcoming Lunar New Year and shared views with them on some matters. A head of the seniors’ committee at the Parliamentary Office Sh.Rinchin reported about the committee's works of the last year and thanked the Parliamentary Office for taking care for elders. During the reception, a former MP cosmonaut J.Gurragchaa said the air pollution and traffic jam have become disasters, so they want to move the capital city to another place, L.Odonchimed spoke about that paved roads, whereas D.Monkhoo emphasized that parliament needs to pass a law on protection for mothers and infants.
