PM meets representatives of friendship societies

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ In Japan with the official visit, the Prime Minister of Mongolia N.Altankhuyag and his spouse Ms Kh.Selenge Thursday held a meeting with representatives of eight Japan-Mongolia friendship societies. Firstly, the PM congratulated Tokyo on being awarded the right to host the 2020 Summer Olympic Games, and then underlined that the Japanese gathered for the meeting always support the Mongolians, "and it means that the inter-citizen ties are expanding." Mr Altankhuyag recalled how he and several young politicians visited a Japanese family twenty years ago, and expressed a satisfaction with visiting again Japan as the Prime Minister with a big delegation. Present at this meeting were the Mongolian delegation accompanying the PM, and Mr M.Hayashi, a head of the group for supporting Japan-Mongolia relations at the Liberal Democratic Party of Japan; H.Otsuji, a deputy head of the Japan-Mongolia friendship group at Japan praliament's House of Councillors (Upper House), and other officials.
