President Putin to discuss settlement in Syria and Russia-UAE bilateral ties with Abu Dhabi Crown Prince - Kremlin

MOSCOW, March 23. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of UAE Armed Forces Mohammed Al Nahyan on March 24, press service of the Kremlin said on Wednesday. "A full-scale exchange of opinions on the situation in the Middle East and the North Africa is expected," the press service said. "Special attention is likely to be paid to the political settlement in Syria in the context of implementation of Russia-US ceasefire agreements and the decision made by the Russian head of state on withdrawal of the main part of the military group from that country," the Kremlin said. "Discussion on actual issues of Russia-UAE relations is planned in the course of the forthcoming meeting," the press service said. "It is expected the progress in implementation of earlier reached agreements will be discussed, primarily in trade and economic and investment spheres, and specific milestones will be outlined for further buildup of the whole package of bilateral cooperation," the press service reported.
