PROSECUTORS TO COOPERATE WITH JOURNALISTS

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The capital city prosecutor B.Bat-Orshikh and a president of the Confederation of Mongolian Journalists B.Galaarid signed a cooperation pact on Wednesday. The memorandum of understanding aims at collaboration for improved transparency, more accessible and factual news, and awareness-raising on the matters among citizens and journalists. Within the agreement, the General Prosecutor’s Office will also run trainings on timely news delivery for journalists. Mr Galaarid praised this action, noting that this is an expression of ongoing reform policies in the sector.
