Russian Thinker: West Cannot Welcome Iran Through Sanctions

Moscow, Feb 21, IRNA - - Chairman of Russian Islamic Committee Heidar Jamal said on Monday that the West must stop dreaming of returning Tehran to its camp by putting pressures on imposing sanctions against it. He told IRNA that rows between Iran and the West, mainly the US are mostly ideological, and considering those differences as mere economic and political ones is wrong. Jamal said the West's materialistic approaches to Iran connot wok because Iran follows an ideology that does not tolerate US arrogance and hegemony or dependency on it. “Economic problem is only a small part of Iran-West bones of contention while Tehran cannot to see exploitation of the Third World countries especially Islamic states,” he added./end
