Salehi Confers With Mashal On Regional Developments

Djibouti, Nov 17, IRNA – Iran's Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi confers latest regional and international developments including the Zionist regime raid on Gaza with the Hamas Political Bureau chief Khaled Mashal by phone.
Salehi emphasized Iranian nation and government solidarity with the Palestinian nation.
'Iran is ready to send humanitarian aid including medicine for Gaza people.'
Mashal for his part, thanked Iran for its support declaring that the Palestinian resistance movement is prepared to defend the Palestinian nation ideals.
Meanwhile, Palestinian Islamic Jihad Leader Ramadan Abdullah Shallah thanked Friday Iran's political and spiritual support for the Palestinian nation.
He made the remarks in a phone talk with Iran's Foreign Minister Ali-Akbar Salehi.
Iran's FM and Islamic Jihad leader conferred on the latest regional and international developments as well as the situation in Gaza Strip after the Zionist regime attacks on this most populated region.
The Iranian Foreign Minister for his part emphasized Tehran's support for Palestinian resistance against occupying force of Zionist regime.
The Iranian foreign minister also declared his preparedness to visit Gaza.
In the meantime, Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani called for the international organizations, here on Friday to stop the Zionist regime attacks on Palestinians in Gaza.
He made the remarks in a phone conversation with his Turkish counterpart Jamil Kuchik.
'The occupying force of Zionist regime continues its criminal attacks on Palestinians, not being bound to the international rules and regulations and this is because of the fact that it has the full support of the world powers.'
He pointed to his phone talks with his counterparts in Iraq, Algeria, Tunisia, Pakistan, and Lebanon, Syria as well as the secretary general of Inter-Parliamentary Union Assembly and added that the regional and international organizations should do their best in support of the oppressed Palestinian nation.
Meanwhile, Iranian Energy Minister Majid Namjoo conferred here on Friday, latest regional and international developments including the Zionist regime raid on Gaza with Lebanon's Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.
Namjoo who is in a three day trip to Beirut, noted in the meeting that the Zionist regime doesn’t need an excuse for attacking its neighbors when allegedly suppose that there is an electoral, political or security related benefit to do this.
'Supporting the resistance is a big need today and Iranian nation is committed to stand beside the regional resistance movements against the occupying force of Zionist regime.'
Namjoo and Suleiman held also talks on Israel raid on Gaza as well as the developments in Syria.
People in different parts of the world staged demonstrations to condemn Israel's crimes against the Palestinians, specially the ongoing Israeli onslaught on the Gaza Strip.
Rallies were held in London, New York City, Paris, Sydney, Beirut and Cairo against the ongoing assault by the Israel on the besieged Gaza Strip.
In New York, protesters gathered outside the Israeli Consulate on Thursday, calling for an immediate end to the attacks on Palestinians.
The protesters then marched to the Times Square and called on the US administration to stop supporting the Israeli regime.
A similar demonstration was held in the French capital, with pro-Palestine activists protesting near the Ministry of Justice and asking the government to clarify its stance on Israel's deadly offensive.
Protesters chanted anti-Israel slogans while waving Palestinian flags.
In Lebanon, the protesters held a demonstration outside the UN headquarters in Beirut, condemning the silence of the West over the death of civilians in Gaza.
The angry protesters also asked the international community to take action to stop the Israeli aggression.
Meanwhile, activists in Australia gathered outside the Max Brenner Chocolate Shop Chain in Parramata district of Sydney, as the chain is affiliated with Israel's second largest food and beverage company, Strauss Group, which provides Israeli army units with the so-called 'Care Packages.'
In Egypt, hundreds of Egyptians demonstrated in Cairo to protest the recent wave of Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip.
Protesters also called on President Mohammad Mursi to cut all ties with the Tel Aviv regime.
