Speaker calls on Poland's President

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A Speaker for the State Great Khural (parliament) Z.Enkhbold Monday was received by Mr Bronislaw Komorowski, the President of the Republic of Poland who is paying a working visit here. The Speaker expressed a satisfaction with broadening friendly relations and cooperation in many sectors between the two countries, and said he believes a further development of the relations in all possible ways will be favorable for the citizens of both countries. The mutual visits of Polish and Mongolian parliament heads will have a great significance in Mongolia-Poland deepening relations and cooperation, especially in direct collaboration between the two parliaments, Mr Enkhbold highlighted. He noted that a visit by the Speaker (Marshal) of the Polish Senate Bogdan Borusewicz here last May had a crucial contribution to the relations of the both law making organizations. Mongolia and Poland have a great potential to expand trade and economy cooperation, bringing it into a higher level, The Speaker said, "further cooperation may focus on the sectors of mining, infrastructure, food, and agricultural industries". The State Great Khural will support further relations and cooperation as needed, in particular, active cooperation in health, environment, and tourism sectors, he added. The President of Poland said he is looking forward to the Mongolian President's visit to his country next year, and noted that he believes the friendly relations and cooperation of the two countries will advance year after year.
