Speaker goes to Omnogobi aimag

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Chairman of the State Great Khural (parliament) Z.Enkhbold Thursday left for Omnogobi aimag to get au fait with activities of the "Energy Resources" LLC and "Erdenes Tavatolgoi" company. The Speaker also intends to hear opinions of the province's people about ways of solving matters regarding mineral resources and investments so as to get more prepared for the irregular session of parliament, which is to start September 16. As we said before, the session will consider bills on investments, on investment fund, on forming a transparency for the gold trade, also a draft amendment to the law on prohibiting the mineral exploration and extraction at/near water sources, protected areas and forests, and a draft law on widely spread mineral resources.
