Speaker meets Ambassador of Laos

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Chairman of the State Great Khural Mr Z.Enkhbold received Tuesday the Ambassador of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic to Mongolia Mr Bouhang Sayasanawo. The Speaker noted that the high-level interactions of the two countries have stabilized and the relations have expanded in the recent years. He said Mongolia and Laos should extend their great relations that are based on the many-year ties in all possible spheres, although the two countries' location still cause problems in transportation. Mr Enkhbold also emphasized that Laos is a traditional and longtime partner of Mongolia in South-East Asia and expressed his trust that Laos will support Mongolia in joining the negotiation mechanisms such as Eastern Asian Summit and becoming a vdialogue partner to the ASEAN. The Ambassador thanked the Speaker for receiving him and expressed his belief that Mr Enkhbold will greatly contribute to the intensification of friendly relations and cooperation of the two countries.
