Speaker meets business delegation of Japan

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Speaker of parliament Z.Enkhbold Thursday received Mr Ueno Hiroshi, a member of the House of Councillors of Japan’s parliament, and accompanying him business delegation. The Speaker is satisfied with strengthening of mutual trust in the Mongolia-Japan political relations and with forwarding of the relations and cooperation into a strategic partnership. Mr Hiroshi replied that they recognized a big opportunity to do business in Mongolia when they visited Mongolia two years ago, "so our businessmen from Gunma Prefecture are meeting today with Mongolian businessmen and political partners.". Politicians must serve as a bridge for creating good conditions for doing business,"our delegates are friendly with the Mongolians and want to run business here," he added. Then the delegation introduced to the Speaker their activities focusing on those they can run here, for example, a director-general of the Numata Sigen company Takahashi Shinya said he can cooperate with Mongolia in erecting a power station which produces electricity from environmentally-friendly bio-fuel, whereas a director of the Sharez company Ishihara Yushihiko said the sides will be able to invent and sell games for smart phones. A "Mori" company’s head Mori Eji said he is seeking opportunities to collaborate in medical treatment and in meat products processing. Mr Enkhbold underlined that such bilateral business meetings let find partners and widen the collaboration, and recommended that the Japanese thoroughly discuss business opportunities with the Mongolian counterparts.
