Speaker receives Ms Pamela Slutz

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Speaker Tuesday received a delegation headed by Ms Pamela J. H. Slutz, a former US Ambassador to Mongolia and chairwoman of the North America - Mongolia Business Council (NAMBC). They exchanged views on agendas being discussed at the 16th Conference of the NAMBC such as prospects of the Mongolia’s economy, foreign investment to Mongolia and the mining sector, environmental and green developmental issues including the mining rehabilitation, and a development of Ulaanbaatar city, improving green environment in the city. The US delegation emphasized that the Speaker’s meeting with the NAMBC members during his visit to the USA was important for the Council’s activities. The NAMBC’s conference has been taking place every year since 1998. This year’s conference kicked off Tuesday in Ulaanbaatar city in a scope of the 40th anniversary of the Mongolia-Canada diplomatic relations, and it will continue until September 26.
