Syria, Iran FMs Discuss Issues Of Mutual Interest

New York, Sept 28, IRNA – Foreign Minister of Iran Mohammad-Javad Zarif and his Syria counterpart Walid al-Muallem met here on Saturday and discussed issues of mutual interest. In the meeting, Zarif and al-Muallem discussed regional developments, especially solution for Syria crisis, and joining Syria to Convention on Mass Destruction Weapons. They also underlined acceleration of holding Geneva-2 conference with participation of Syrian government and opposition groups. The two sides also called for ending Syria’s crisis through peaceful means./end
