T.BATAAR MUSEUM EARNS SOME 120 MILLION TOGROG

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The temporary museum of a fossil skeleton of Tyrannosaurus Bataar (T.Bataar) has earned some 120 million togrog for the state budget. Now the museum has been displayed since October 5 in Darkhan-Uul aimag, has already collected eight million MNT. According to statistics, a majority of visitors are from Darkhan-Uul and Orkhon provinces, as well as foreign tourists. Apart from the financial profit, a sale of souvenirs related to the skeleton has brought money, to, officials note, adding that the museum has set a record of earning such a big amount money in Mongolia. As informed before, Mongolia obtained back the skeleton T.Bataar which was smuggled to the USA, after stopping the auction of the fossil.
