TECHNOLOGICAL PROGRESS PRIZE WILL BE GIVEN TO ENGINEER

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A scientific work by an engineer N.Natsagnyam, called "Automatic adjustment for synchronized generator's reactive potential (NaNyam-AX12) and its virtual laboratory" will be awarded with the 2013 Prize of Technological Progress of Mongolia, with a cash of 100 million MNT. This decision has been made at a regular cabinet meeting Saturday. The scientific work is suggested to tackle the reactive potential matters. The device will be installed at all power stations and sub-stations to make the country's energy system fully independent and to save big amount of money. This creation is cheaper as much as ten times of that of China, "it could save 600 million togrog when our own hardware and software are combined," Natsagnyam says. His device can be also utilized in engineering field, he added. This action is to significantly contribute to supporting of the national economic system and will block the import-dependent economic system.
