Turkish FM keeps holding talks in Munich

MUNICH (A.A) - February 5, 2012 - Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, who attended the 48th Munich Security Conference in Germany, held bilateral talks on Sunday. Davutoglu had meetings with an American parliamentarian delegation, Egyptian Foreign Minister Mohamed Kamel Amr and Tunisian Prime Minister Hamadi Jebali. During the meeting between Davutoglu and American delegation, Turkish-U.S. relations and some issues regarding the Middle East were taken up. In his meeting with Amr, Davutoglu offered his condolences to Amr for those who died when violent clashes broke out at a football match in Port Said in Egypt, stating that Turkey was ready to extend assistance to Egypt. Davutoglu and Jebali discussed developments in Arab countries as well as situation in North Africa and Syria in their meeting. Turkish foreign minister also invited Jebali to Turkey on behalf of Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Jebali told him that he was eager to visit Turkey.
